4:40 pm US Northwest Coast Premiere Sunday, October 4 Varsity Theater [maxbutton id="10"] Rate: 13 yrs. + Directed by Maite Alberdi Documentary Country:  Chile Year: 2014 Running Time: 80’ Spanish w/ English subtitles Cast: Ximena Calderón, Angélica Charpentier, Nina Chiccarelli Five elderly women religiously gather for tea, once a month, for the past sixty years. In these meetings, the friends argue and reconcile, evoke their common past, and try hard to show they are still current. Their personal stories and present events force them to question their education and beliefs. Despite all of them having attended the same religious school, they lived through a period of radical historic changes that few of them can comprehend and adapt. Afternoons, days, months and even years pass, while they sit around the table, and it seems that nothing in their lives changes, until the absence of one of them makes them go through a period of evident transformation.
