Join us for SLFF Opening Night Gala 2016 to jump start the 8th Annual Seattle Latino Film Festival. This will be a wonderful night to celebrate Latino cultures through the beautiful art of film.
Annually, the Seattle Latino Film Festival picks a guest country to be represented at our opening night, this year it is the beautiful country of Venezuela. The film opening this year's festival at the wonderful Seattle Art Museum is Dauna: Gone with the River. This is the beginning of our ten day festival that showcases films from dozens of Latino and Hispanic countries all over the world, and all of the unique cultures and people.
Every year we hope to achieve the standards set by our mission statement: To bring audiences and filmmakers together for a cultural experience and to support the art of filmmaking as a part of Hispanic culture globally. To reflect the multicultural perspectives that our community represents and enhance a cross cultural appreciation to Hispanic and non Hispanic of our cinema. Your ticket will include the presentation of the film at the Seattle Art Museum and the afterparty at Club Sur in SODO district that will include light appetizers.
