The premiere of the documentary Guadalupe / Tonanzin Guadalupe will be a free public event and a celebration of Mexican culture.

Synopsis: A woman living on the U.S./Mexico border invokes the voice of the Rio Grande. Guiding her through the history of migration and the symbiotic relationship with the indigenous people of the land. As the river speaks, echoes follow, ultimately exposing the socio-ecological destruction caused when the river became a border and a political weapon.

Sinopsis: Una mujer que vive en la frontera entre Estados Unidos y México invoca la voz del Río Grande. Guiándola a través de la historia de la migración y la relación simbiótica con los pueblos indígenas de la tierra.
